Harvard medical professor is nominated as CMS administrator

President Barack Obama has nominated Dr. Donald Berwick, a pediatrician and professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health, to lead the CMS. As administrator, Berwick will be responsible for carrying out the major provisions of the health reform law that involve Medicare and Medicaid.
