Oklahoma governor signs equine-dentistry bill

Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry signed a bill Friday that authorizes equine dentists to practice in the state without facing criminal charges. The law, which is expected to take effect in August, will require equine dentists to complete at least 80 hours of training in order to obtain certification from the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
