An elementary-school computer teacher suggests teachers introduce gaming philosophies to classroom instruction. Mary Beth Hertz writes that video games allow students to learn from their mistakes, receive immediate feedback and set manageable goals. Hertz writes that learning has improved in her classroom since she began allowing students to revise their work and provide feedback to their peers.
