Sydney hotel makeover makes use of precast archways

A Sydney hotel dating to the 1920s has undergone a complete gutting and remodeling. The new design of the Newmarket Hotel makes use of precast concrete arches hung with decorative lights, provocative wall treatments and a new courtyard garden. The project is now up for an architecture award in Australia.
