EU is evaluating China's aviation emissions plan

European Union Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard says the EU is evaluating a plan by China to reduce aviation emissions. The plan could constitute an "equivalent measure" to the EU's emissions-trading scheme. However, Hedegaard says the EU doesn't "have enough information yet" to determine whether the Chinese plan would be equivalent, this feature says.
