IHS iSuppli: Ultrabooks to help NAND flash market reach $22.9 billion

The global market for NAND flash memory devices is forecast to hit $22.9 billion this year, an increase of 8% from last year's $21.2 billion, partly driven by demand for ultrabook computers with solid-state drives, according to IHS iSuppli. Smartphones and tablets will also contribute to the healthy increase in sales. The market research firm sees the NAND flash market rising to $30.9 billion by 2016.
