San Francisco's E&O Trading Company has been steadily modernizing its menu under chef Eric Arnold Wong and beefing up its marketing and PR campaigns, moves that ultimately resulted in upscale cuisine that no longer matched its dated decor. The solution? A month-long, $1 million remodel. The eatery will reopen next month as E&O Asian Kitchen.
