Qualcomm posts good results, can't get enough chips for customers

Despite not being able to get all the chips it wants from its silicon foundry, Qualcomm reported net income of $2.23 billion on sales of $4.94 billion for its second quarter, ended March 25. Sales in the period were up 28% from a year earlier. With the supply constraints, Qualcomm forecast that its third-quarter sales would fall in the range of $4.45 billion to $4.85 billion.
