CEA mulls standard for auto broadband, comms

The Consumer Electronics Association will convene a meeting in Denver on May 22 to discuss the possibility of an industry standard for vehicle-to-vehicle communications and broadband access in vehicles. "Two-way communications among vehicles, between vehicles and the transportation infrastructure, and between vehicles and the telecommunications infrastructure are growing rapidly and will continue to grow for years to come," Voxx International's James Tranchina said.
