House defies veto threat, OKs cyberdefense bill

A measure that would encourage companies to provide details on cybersecurity breaches and related information to the government passed the House this week, despite President Barack Obama's threat to veto the bill. The cyberdefense bill shields companies from lawsuits if they volunteer the information. The White House says it doesn't provide enough privacy protection.
