Korean project to put $22M into semiconductor R&D

Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are joining the South Korean government in participating in a five-year, $22 million semiconductor research and development project. Also involved are Applied Materials, ASML Holding, Lam Research and Tokyo Electron, all vendors of semiconductor production equipment.
