New aviation, intelligence jobs will open up to women

The Army and Marine Corps plan to make more than 6,200 additional jobs available to women beginning in May, including support positions in logistics, intelligence and health care. Women will also be able to apply to become pilots in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the unit that flew the operation to raid Osama bin Laden's hideout. The new jobs do not include positions in front-line combat.
