S.C. port records volume increase in March

Container volume of 20-foot equivalent units at the Port of Charleston in South Carolina rose 1.5% in March year-on-year and 13.8% compared with March 2011, according to the South Carolina Ports Authority. The port's TEU volume in the first nine months of its fiscal year climbed 10% over the same period in the previous fiscal year.
