Taco Bell is promoting its "Happier Hour" campaign through an Apple iAd mobile initiative that encourages consumers to use the application's buttons for setting alerts ("Remind me at 2PM") and notifying them of close restaurants ("Remind me nearby"). The promotion touts "$1 Mtn Dew Baja Blast Freeze" drinks from 2-5 p.m. with "a clear call-to-action and attractive special offer," comments Appitalism CEO Simon Buckingham.
