Automakers embrace hip-hop appeal

Rather than remain puzzled why General Motors' Cadillac Escalade had appeal among rap stars and fans, automakers now are promoting their vehicles with hip-hop stars. Chrysler teamed up with 50 Cent to showcase its brand-new 300 C in a music video and also had its new Dodge Magnum featured on MTV's "Cribs" show.
