Vitamin D RDA may be too low, researchers say

Research is showing increasing benefits from vitamin D in helping patients survive lung cancer, and a new study shows patients with high intake of the vitamin who had surgery for lung cancer were more than twice as likely to be alive five years later than those with low levels.
