Canadian hotels get creative in eco-friendliness

Canadian hotels are taking innovative measures to become more eco-friendly, and a 2005 poll indicated about 60% of Canadians considered a hotel's environmental impact in making a decision on whether to stay there. As many as 480 hotels participating in the Green Key Eco-Rating Program, which assesses a hotel's commitment to environmentally sound practices.
