Marine Corps wants more women to join its ranks

The U.S. Marine Corps is showing its "softer" side with a new patriotic-themed TV and print campaign aimed at recruiting more women to its ranks. The ads are appearing in female-skewing magazines like Shape, Self and Fitness, as well as on "American Idol" and other mainstream shows, with the tagline: "There are no female marines. Only marines."
