Ky. Lt. Gov. Mongiardo meets with NKU over e-health records study

Kentucky Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo began discussions with officials of Northern Kentucky University regarding his proposal to use the university as a national laboratory to test the cost-effectiveness of EHRs. The $500 million plan also would employ the expertise of the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville, which would investigate the effect of e-health records on medical care implementation.
