Task force to determine when diabetics are "cured"

An American Diabetes Association task force will study whether patients who turn their disease around and successfully manage their blood sugars are actually "cured." The task force will look at what blood sugar range qualifies as a cure, how long it would it have to be maintained, how blood pressure and cholesterol fit into the picture, and the potential that a cured diabetic's blood sugar could go back up.
