Washington state to rehab floating bridge

A floating bridge on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington state will soon receive a makeover. Seventeen pontoons will be replaced on the Hood Canal bridge, and the new rebar will be coated with waterproof epoxy to prevent rust. The west side of the 1961 bridge had to be replaced in 1979 after it sank in a storm.
