Bond buyers analyze long-term restructuring of Greece's debt

Sovereign-debt investors are increasingly looking beyond the short-term fallout of a financial rescue for Greece, which many assume is inevitable. The bond market is turning to an analysis of how a long-term restructuring of Greece's debt might work. "Investors and analysts are now running the numbers to see what a haircut to Greek bonds would be," said Steven Major, global head of fixed-income research at HSBC.
