England educators vote to boycott national tests

Two unions that represent about 80% of the headteachers at England's primary schools have voted to boycott national maths and reading tests set to be administered 10 May to 10- and 11-year-olds. Teachers say the boycott is in protest of the tests, which they believe are used to compile league tables that would unfairly label struggling schools.
