Final component of USDA's animal-health hub is dedicated in Iowa

The final phase of the $464 million National Centers for Animal Health in Ames, Iowa, was dedicated Monday by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and a delegation of state representatives. The facility, which provides animal space and laboratories as well as administration offices, unifies the three USDA divisions that previously operated independently in Ames, including the Center for Veterinary Biologics.
