Travel managers scramble to aid stranded travelers:

HRG is working to accommodate roughly 40,000 customers who have been affected by the flight restrictions in Europe caused by the volcanic ash from Iceland. "The priority for most clients at the moment is to repatriate their travelers and, as a result, some are introducing temporary bans for any journey that has not already commenced," HRG CEO David Radcliffe said. HRG is one of many travel-management companies working to help travelers. About 150,000 U.K. travelers are stranded overseas, according to estimates by the Association of British Travel Agents.
