Federal agents arrested the two owners of Arizona-based 15-unit Chuy's Mesquite Broiler chain, along with the company's bookkeeper, alleging that the company knowingly hired undocumented workers and paid them off the books. The move signals a deepening crackdown by the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which has also launched an investigation into Chipotle Mexican Grill, whose eateries in the Minnesota and Washington, D.C., markets have been the targets of federal immigration audits in recent months.
