Wine labels tout green credentials, but terms can confuse

Wine labels use terms including sustainable, organic and biodynamic to indicate they are eco-friendly. Sustainable indicates the winery has not gone all the way to organic, a designation that is difficult to achieve. A biodynamic wine is made in accordance with a holistic ecosystem, and can be certified by one organization, Demeter.
