Carrying a "Food Allergy Buddy" card can help people with food allergies safely eat at restaurants, registered dietitian Bobbie Randall writes. Cards list food allergies and emergency-contact information in case an allergic reaction occurs. Randall writes that giving one to restaurant wait staff avoids awkward conversations during ordering.
