Marriage ranks low among voter concerns, survey finds

A new national survey from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press finds that 28% of U.S. voters consider “gay marriage” a top concern, while more than 80% say the economy and jobs are "very important." “This latest data reinforces the fact that supporting LGBT equality is not a divisive wedge issue,” said Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign.
