More school districts in Colorado are choosing to run advertisements on their school buses as a source of new revenue amid ongoing budget constraints. The state became the first in the U.S. to employ the strategy, which is most popular in urban districts, officials said. "We just want people to see we really are trying to figure out other ways to make money. We're not sitting around here being helpless," said Don Herman, chief operations officer of Mapleton Public Schools.
