Study: Obesity main factor in diabetes epidemic

Obesity is the overlying factor responsible for the nation's Type 2 diabetes epidemic, according to a new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The findings come from a survey of about 40,000 households in which researchers compared data including rates of diabetes and participants' body mass index.
