Demand for oil in emerging nations causes prices to rise

The International Energy Agency predicts China, India, Russia and the Middle East combined will consume more crude oil than the U.S. this year because of economic growth and increased car use in emerging nations. Despite a predicted slowdown in U.S. oil demand this year, rising demand in the developing world will keep oil prices high, analysts say.
