Sprint will sell Acer laptop with WiMAX module

Acer is taking a page out of how mobile-phone companies sell service packages with plans to provide a built-in WiMAX module in its Aspire 5920 notebook and market the hardware through Sprint Nextel and other companies, Acer said Monday. Quanta Computer, a notebook manufacturer, is building the laptops, which Acer said it hoped to introduce by year-end.
