$500M restoration of veterans' medical center moves ahead

Officials expect to complete an extensive restoration and expansion project at the Wade Park Division of the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland in 2014. Workers have gutted entire floors to install new wiring, plumbing, walls and bed space, and they are at work on an eight-story addition. The $500 million project is the largest VA project in progress in the U.S.
