Cheerios really do cut cholesterol

Eating two cups of Cheerios a day reduced "bad" cholesterol about 10% within a month, according to research. The study indicated that Cheerios consumption as part of a reduced-calorie low-fat diet doubled the reduction in bad cholesterol over 12 weeks, compared with a similar diet without Cheerios.
