Kohn: Slow recovery could begin later this year

The U.S. economy could stabilize in the second half of this year, Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald Kohn said. He also predicted a slow rebound after "fragile" financial markets are strengthened. "My best guess is that we are in for a relatively gradual recovery, though a very wide range of uncertainty surrounds that outlook," Kohn said.
