Small firms see lending crisis lagging on

NFIB's March membership survey indicates that lending has not improved for small businesses, prompting Case Western Reserve University professor Scott Shane to project that pre-recession levels will not return "anytime soon." Shane writes: "As the recession wears on, a decreasing percentage of small-business owners believe that their borrowing needs were satisfied over the previous three months."
