Taiwanese researchers claim 3-D TV headway

The Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratories at Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute apparently has licensed the technology to at least one vendor that will enable viewers to watch 3-D images on a TV without special glasses. Hsu Shao-chung, the deputy director general of the research lab, said Taiwanese companies could begin selling LCDs with 3-D capabilities within the next few years.
