Australian teachers will move forward with planned testing boycott

The Australian Education Union will continue its planned boycott of national literacy and maths tests despite a ruling from the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission that they should abandon their effort. Union officials say they will consider the advisement but will still boycott the exams in mid-May over the government's My School website, which will rank schools by student scores on the exams.
