Allan Landon, chairman and CEO at Bank of Hawaii, plans to retire this year. Peter Ho, president of the bank, will succeed Landon. Landon disclosed the plan with the release of the company's quarterly earnings, saying the timing is right. "Peter is the right guy to lead the bank, and it's a good time to get the next generation to take the reins," Landon said. "The decision is something we've been working on for a long time. We have a process here to make sure we have a successor for everyone on the management team."
