Crises fail to dampen mood at tour operator meeting

Participants at the U.S. Tour Operators Association's annual out-of-country meeting were upbeat about 2010 despite the cloud over Europe because of volcanic ash. The meeting was being held in Chile, where an earthquake hit just six weeks earlier. Along with landslides in Machu Piccu and political unrest in Thailand, the world has seen plenty of crises already this year, but tour operators remain upbeat.
