New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has tapped Steven L. Rattner to build a company to manage his personal wealth and philanthropic foundation. Rattner is tied to a state and federal kickbacks investigation. Rattner founded the Quadrangle Group, which is at the center of an investigation by New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo over kickbacks paid to former State Comptroller Alan G. Hevesi.
