Future of blimp hangar up in the air

Historic preservationists are trying to save a massive blimp hangar built by the U.S. Navy from destruction. Hangar One has not housed a blimp for 75 years, and is contaminated by asbestos, lead paint and other toxic chemicals. The 198-foot high structure could be adapted for other uses once cleaned up, but funding has not been allocated.
