Judge: New York has a strong case against Greenberg

New York State Supreme Court Justice Charles Ramos said the state's case against former American International Group chief executive Maurice "Hank" Greenberg is "devastating." A lawsuit filed against Greenberg and former AIG Chief Financial Officer Howard Smith in 2005 charged the men with "using sham reinsurance deals and other transactions to distort the reported financial condition of the company."
