Nevada district to end double dipping by teacher retirees

Officials in Nevada's Clark County School District say they will soon stop the practice of allowing retired teachers to draw their pensions and receive salaries -- referred to as double dipping -- as a way to combat teacher shortages. Officials say with unemployment high nationwide, it makes more sense and is easier to hire young and qualified teachers.
