Report: Teen inhalant use is down by one-third on annual basis

American teenagers are less likely to abuse inhalants, according to a major study. More than 35,000 cases of inhalant abuse have been reported to poison-control centers since 1993, but annual totals have fallen by a third in that time. The study found that butane was the inhalant most often linked to lethal accidents, followed by propane and a number of household chemicals.
