Strategic Airlines applies for Australia-to-U.S. service

Strategic Airlines wants to become the seventh airline to offer flights from Australia to the U.S. The fledgling carrier has submitted a request to the International Air Services Commission to start service this September. "It's a competitive market, but we believe there is always opportunity for specific origin and destination traffic," said Damien Vasta, Strategic's chief of commercial service.
