Veterinarian repairs kitten with bilateral tarsal arthrogryposis

A kitten born with a genetic deformity, bilateral arthrogryposis of the tarsus, a congenital condition that renders the hind limbs essentially useless, has a new lease on life thanks to her adopter, generous friends and veterinarian Dan Burchill. After a four-hour procedure to repair both hind limbs, the cat, named Corky, is undergoing pain management, physical therapy and acupuncture, but is progressing well.
