The anniversary of the Titanic disaster should give business leaders pause for thought, writes Mark Bonchek. The ship's officers ignored ice warnings, failed to realize the threat posed by the iceberg ahead of them, and botched their evasive maneuvers by slamming the engines into reverse. "Consider where the icebergs might be that you can't see," Bonchek advises. "...And when you do see a threat, beware of hitting the brakes; the best reaction might be to step on the gas."
