ICE's Sprecher plans to tackle fees and other issues

According to Jeffrey Sprecher, chief executive officer and founder of IntercontinentalExchange, U.S. markets have a number of shortcomings: They're too complex, are bogged down by fees that prop up high-speed transactions, and allow too many order types. However, Sprecher says he aims to straighten out the problems once ICE takes over NYSE Euronext later this year.
